Al-Ahli Saudi FC nears signing of Ibrahim Diaby
Al-Ahli Saudi FC is nearing a deal to sign French midfielder Ibrahim Diaby from Belgian side Club Brugge. According to reports from L'Équipe, the 19-year-old has already undergone a medical examination in Saudi Arabia.
The transfer is valued at approximately 13.5 million euros, including bonuses and incentives. Diaby, a product of the Paris Saint-Germain academy, is expected to sign a four-year contract with an option for a one-year extension. During his time with Club Brugge, he made 32 appearances, recording two goals and two assists.
In related transfer activity, Al-Ahli's pursuit of Montenegrin midfielder Andrea Bulatovic from Lens reportedly reached advanced stages but did not result in a completed deal. Additionally, French player Bab Carral has decided to remain with Monaco for the current season despite previous transfer discussions involving Al-Ahli.
