Al Ahly and Al Nassr implement training breaks during international window

Al Ahly SC has scheduled a rest day for its players this Saturday as part of its preparation program during the international break. Under the leadership of Hussein Ammouta, the team will resume normal training on Sunday. The club is preparing for upcoming friendly matches against Al Ittihad Tripoli and Al Masry, as well as a match against Petrol Asyut on October 7. These preparations serve as a final test before their highly anticipated match against Zamalek on October 11 in the Egyptian Premier League.

Meanwhile, Al Nassr FC has granted most of its squad a two-day break, though injured players remain excluded from the leave to continue rehabilitation. Nine players, including Kinsley Coman and Rakan Al-Ghamdi, are currently undergoing specialized training. The squad is expected to return to full training on Monday under coach Ange Postecoglou. Al Nassr will resume its Saudi Pro League campaign on October 9 against Diriyah, followed by an AFC Champions League Elite match against Neftchi against Uzbekistan.
