Al Ahly extends contracts for Imam Ashour and Marwan Attia until 2030
Egyptian football club Al Ahly has secured the futures of two key midfielders by extending their contracts until 2030.
Imam Ashour has signed an extension following speculation regarding potential moves to clubs in Turkey and Saudi Arabia. The announcement follows his absence from Al Ahly’s opening Egyptian Premier League match against Eastern Company Enppi.
Marwan Attia has also signed a revised agreement through 2030. Reports indicate Attia’s annual salary will increase from EGP 13 million to EGP 20 million, with potential performance-related bonuses that could bring his total annual earnings to approximately EGP 30 million. Attia, who joined the club in January 2023, has been a regular contributor to the team’s recent domestic and continental successes.
