Al Ahly performance faces criticism amid tactical concerns

Former Al Ahly player Samir Kamouna has expressed concern regarding the team's current performance, stating that the club management may not tolerate the current level for long. Speaking on the CBC program ‘Number One’, Kamouna emphasized that Al Ahly fans expect entertaining football and victories, viewing draws as being close to losses.

Kamouna specifically addressed the technical staff led by coach Ammouda, noting that while the coach has a respectable history, he must correct tactical errors in defense, midfield, and attack. He suggested that the coach needs to maintain composure on the sidelines and implement a clear strategy involving a mix of experienced players and youth.

Additionally, former player Saad Samir criticized the squad's mentality, claiming approximately ten players do not currently feel the value of representing Al Ahly. While praising the passion of Hussein El Shahat and the fighting spirit of Akram Tawfik, he noted that some players exhibit a lack of enthusiasm and play with a sense of indifference.
