Al Ahly rejects Como 1907 offer for goalkeeper Mostafa Shobeir

Al Ahly SC has rejected an official offer from Italian club Como 1907 to sign goalkeeper Mostafa Shobeir during the current summer transfer window. The Egyptian club stated that Shobeir's departure is impossible due to the team's need for his services and a general policy to retain all key squad members this summer.

Shobeir, 26, is currently in Spain with the Al Ahly squad for pre-season preparations. While his current contract runs until the end of next season, allowing for direct negotiations with other clubs starting in January, Al Ahly remains committed to keeping the goalkeeper following his strong performances for both club and the Egyptian national team.

In addition to transfer developments, Al Ahly is set to face FC Barcelona on August 19 at the Spotify Camp Nou as part of the 61st Joan Gamper Trophy. Al Ahly becomes the first Egyptian and African club to participate in this tournament, marking a significant milestone in the club's international expansion strategy.
