Al Ahly SC addresses Imam Ashour absence from matches

Al Ahly SC has issued an official statement regarding the recent absence of midfielder Imam Ashour from team matches. The club clarified that while Ashour has been excluded from recent match squads, such as the upcoming fixture against Al Mokawloon Al Arab, the decision is strictly due to technical reasons determined by the coaching staff.

The club emphasized that Ashour is participating regularly in group training sessions and is fully adhering to the team's instructions and training programs. This statement follows reports suggesting potential disciplinary issues or tensions regarding the player's contract negotiations and management.

Ashour's absence from league matches has become a recurring theme, appearing in four out of nine league games this season. Despite the matchday exclusions, the club maintains there is no crisis regarding his commitment to the team.
