Al Ahly SC finalizes 2026-2027 squad after transfer window

Al Ahly SC has finalized its squad for the 2026-2027 season following the close of the transfer window. The new roster features a mix of experienced players, new signings, and youth prospects. The club has registered five foreign players: Moncef Baccar, Sofiane Bendjedid, Achraf Bencharki, Reda Slim, and Achraf Dari. Additionally, four underage players—Omar Sayed Moawad, Mohamed Raafat, Mohamed Abdallah, and Ahmed Khaled Kabaka—have been included to integrate academy talent into the first team.

In conjunction with these registrations, the club has undergone significant roster restructuring. Several players have departed the club to facilitate squad rebuilding. Notable exits include Mahmoud Hassan Trezeguet, who joined Al Riyadh in Saudi Arabia on a free transfer, and Alieu Diang, who moved to Valencia in Spain. Other departures include Omar Kamal Abdel Wahid and Ibrahim Adel, both joining Al Mokawloon Al Arab, while Samir Mohamed has transferred to Petrojet on a three-season deal.
