Al Ahly SC manages squad injuries and international player status

Al Ahly SC is managing several squad and administrative matters. Regarding player transfers, Enppi SC spokesperson Ahmed Shawky Gharib denied rumors that the club received 1.5 million EGP from Al Ahly due to Ali Mahmoud's participation with the Egyptian national team, though he noted that the transfer agreement includes clauses for ongoing financial benefits for Enppi.

On the pitch, defender Yasser Ibrahim is undergoing intensive rehabilitation for an ankle injury in an attempt to be ready for the upcoming derby against Zamalek. If Ibrahim is unable to play, Moroccan defender Ashraf Dari may make his debut this season.

Administratively, Al Ahly is considering a formal request to the Egyptian Football Association to exempt its international players from the upcoming friendly against South Africa to allow for rest. Meanwhile, the club awaits an official invitation to participate in the Super Cup in the UAE and plans to use the League Cup to prepare squad depth using non-starting players.
