Al Ahly SC pursues Achraf Bencharki renewal and January reinforcements

Al Ahly SC is actively working to secure the future of Moroccan winger Achraf Bencharki. The club management aims to renew his contract to maintain squad stability and technical continuity. Current negotiations are focused on financial terms; while Bencharki currently earns approximately $1.6 million annually, the club is seeking to adjust the new contract to roughly $900,000 per season in line with its financial policies.

In preparation for the January transfer window, the club is also identifying key areas for reinforcement to support head coach Hussein Ammouta. The administration has prioritized strengthening the central defense and the defensive midfield position (number 6) to address technical gaps and manage the upcoming competitive schedule in the league and the African Confederation Cup.
