Al Ahly signs historic four‑year sponsorship with Vodafone

Egyptian football powerhouse Al Ahly has entered a four‑year sponsorship agreement with telecom giant Vodafone, facilitated by United Sports. The deal, described by United Sports chief Mohamed Yehia Lotfi as the "largest contract in the club's history" and a "historic event," was unveiled at a ceremony staged beneath the Giza pyramids.

Lotfi highlighted that the partnership goes beyond traditional sponsorship, aiming to create a strategic, long‑term collaboration that will boost Al Ahly's marketing value, fund new investment projects and deliver added services to fans. Club president Mahmoud Al‑Khatib was thanked for his role in finalising the negotiations. The agreement is seen as a major step for the development of sports marketing and investment in Egypt.
