Al Ahly shifts training location and rejects new strikers

Al Ahly's first football team, led by coach Hussein Ammouta, will move its training sessions to Pitch 4 in the Nasr City youth sector starting November 1. This relocation is scheduled for one month to allow for maintenance work at the Mokhtar El-Tetsh stadium in Gezira. The team is expected to return to its home ground in early December.

Regarding squad management, the technical staff has decided against signing new attacking players during the upcoming January transfer window. Coach Ammouta believes the current roster provides sufficient options, including players such as Moncef Bekar, Sofiane Benjedda, and Aktai Abdullah. The staff also views players like Achraf Bencharki and Taher Mohamed Taher as viable alternatives for the striker position. This decision likely reduces the club's pursuit of Modern Sport striker Mahmoud Mamdouh.
