Al al-Bayt Royal Foundation holds 19th General Conference in Jordan

The 19th General Conference of the Al al-Bayt Royal Foundation for Islamic Thought has commenced in Amman, Jordan. Held under the patronage of King Abdullah II, the conference is titled ‘Ummah Priorities in the Next Twenty-Five Years (2026–2050).’

Prince Ghazi bin Muhammad, Chairman of the Foundation's Board of Trustees, opened the event, noting that the conference was delayed from its original schedule due to regional security circumstances and the ongoing war in Gaza. The gathering aims to discuss intellectual and religious issues to promote moderation, coexistence, and dialogue among Islamic authorities.

Participants include high-level religious figures such as Egyptian Minister of Awqaf Dr. Osama al-Azhari, former Grand Mufti Dr. Ali Gomaa, and Sheikh Habib Ali al-Jifri.

During the opening, Prince Ghazi highlighted the Foundation's ongoing educational initiatives, specifically a comprehensive educational application developed under the direction of King Abdullah II. This digital tool is designed to support students in Gaza and the Palestinian territories by providing access to approved curricula without requiring a constant internet connection. The application is currently being used by over two million students across Gaza, the West Bank, Jerusalem, and Palestinian students abroad.
