Al Andalus Innovation Venture connects 1,050 startups in Seville
The fifth edition of Al Andalus Innovation Venture concluded in Seville, drawing over 3,100 attendees and 1,050 startups. Held at the Sevilla TechPark, the event facilitated approximately 1,500 business and investment meetings, serving as a major connection point between startups, large corporations, and investors within the Spanish entrepreneurial ecosystem.
A4Radar, a scaleup from Murcia specializing in intelligent perception solutions, received the Bolsas y Mercados Españoles (BME) award for the company with the highest potential. The company develops technologies such as contactless predictive maintenance radar for electrical substations. Other award winners included companies in the mobility, dual technology, agrotech, digital health, AI, and fintech sectors.
In conjunction with the forum, the 'Pitch Train' initiative—a collaboration between Renfe’s TrenLab and Al Andalus Innovation Venture—hosted a networking session on an AVE high-speed train between Madrid and Seville. This event allowed startups focused on urban mobility and infrastructure to pitch directly to representatives from investment funds and major corporations such as Iberdrola, Naturgy, and Acciona.
