Al-Azhar begins grading preparatory certificate second-session exams
Grading for the Al-Azhar preparatory certificate second-session exams for the 2025-2026 academic year has commenced. The process follows the conclusion of exams held on Saturday, which included English and Art subjects.
Ahmed El-Sharkawy, Head of the Al-Azhar Institutes Sector, reported that the second-session examinations were completed with discipline across various committees. Sheikh Hamid Abu Arida, Deputy Head of the Al-Azhar Institutes Sector for Examination Affairs, stated that the grading process will strictly adhere to organized regulations to ensure accuracy in mark estimation and review. Once grading is complete, data recording and review will take place before the results are officially approved and announced.
Approximately 108,500 students participated in this year's second-session exams, including 45,000 in the primary certificate, 60,000 in the preparatory certificate, and approximately 3,500 in reading certificates.
