Al Bano performs concert in Pula with Ana Rucner

Legendary Italian singer Al Bano performed a concert at the Malo rimsko kazalište in Pula, drawing a multi-generational audience. The performance included his iconic hit ‘Volare’ (Nel blu, dipinto di blu), which the crowd sang along to.

During the event, Al Bano was joined by world-renowned Croatian cellist Ana Rucner. The 83-year-old tenor performed various hits, including ‘Felicita’, ‘Azzurro’, and ‘Caruso’, as well as a melody from the film ‘The Godfather’.

Prior to the concert, Al Bano expressed his appreciation for Croatian and Istrian wines, noting his family's background in winemaking. He also shared anecdotes regarding his career, including a past legal dispute with Michael Jackson over perceived plagiarism of the song ‘I cigni di Balaka’.
