Al Biernat's steakhouse to expand to downtown Fort Worth

Al Biernat's, a prominent Dallas-based steakhouse, has announced plans to expand to Fort Worth with its third location. The new restaurant will occupy a midcentury modern building at 913 Houston St. in downtown Fort Worth, situated across from the site of the city's new Convention Center ballroom.

The 11,760-square-foot property, originally built in 1959 for Farm & Home Savings, features floor-to-ceiling glass and a curved staircase. The building was purchased in April 2025 by an entity managed by Dallas-based Eagle Equity Inc.

Restaurant co-owner and general manager Brad Fuller confirmed that the group has signed a lease and is currently in the early stages of space planning and design. While the expansion marks a significant move for the establishment, which has operated in Dallas since 1998, no official opening date has been determined.
