Al Dhale'e Governor declares state of emergency after fatal ambush

The Governor of Al Dhale'e, Major General Ahmed Qaid al-Kubba, has declared a state of emergency in Al Dhale'e city following a violent highway robbery. The incident targeted soldiers returning from the Al Mukha front, resulting in the deaths of two soldiers, the injury of a third, and the theft of their weapons.

During an emergency security meeting attended by local military and political leaders, officials condemned the attack and ordered a military-led security campaign to track down the perpetrators. The local leadership emphasized that such criminal acts do not represent the values of the Al Dhale'e people and warned against providing shelter to those involved in such activities.

Authorities also discussed the potential links between these robberies and Houthi-led efforts to destabilize the internal front in Al Dhale'e. The security campaign aims to raid criminal hideouts and ensure that those responsible for the ambush and looting are brought to justice.
