Al Di Meola to perform in Matera with Acoustic Trio

American guitarist Al Di Meola is scheduled to perform in Matera, Italy, on August 21, 2026. The concert will take place at the Cava del Sole as part of his Worldwide Tour – Acoustic Trio.

Al Di Meola, a Grammy Award winner known for his mastery of jazz fusion and ability to blend jazz, rock, Latin, flamenco, and world music, will be joined by Italian guitarist Peo Alfonsi and Cuban percussionist Sergio Martinez. The performance is expected to feature classics from his solo career, acoustic reinterpretations of his fusion-era compositions from his time with Return to Forever, and works made famous through his collaborations with Paco de Lucía and John McLaughlin.
