Al-Diriyah defeats Al-Hazem 1-0 in Saudi Roshn League

Al-Diriyah FC secured its first three points of the 2026-2027 Saudi Roshn League season with a 1-0 victory over Al-Hazem FC. The decisive goal was scored in the third minute by Abdulelah Al-Malki, who converted a header from a corner kick.

Following the early lead, Al-Diriyah attempted to extend their advantage through several scoring opportunities. Jitan Laborde had notable chances in the 16th and 61st minutes, supported by assists from Georges Nikoudo, but Al-Hazem's goalkeeper made key saves to prevent further goals. Al-Hazem received two yellow cards during the match, issued to Abdulrahman Al-Dakhil and Saud Al-Rashid.

With this win, Al-Diriyah moves to eighth place in the league standings, trailing Al-Hazem, who sits in seventh place with the same number of points but a superior goal difference.
