Al Hilal claims Saudi Pro League lead amid Gabriel Martinelli injury

Al Hilal has ascended to the top of the Saudi Pro League standings following a 3-2 victory over Al Qadsiah in the eleventh round of the competition. Brazilian winger Gabriel Martinelli opened the scoring in the 21st minute, marking his sixth goal of the season and extending his scoring streak to four consecutive matches.

However, the victory was tempered by an injury to Martinelli, who was forced to leave the pitch at the start of the second half. This marks the first injury since his transfer from Arsenal and the eleventh of his professional career. He was replaced by Sultan Mandash.

Following the match, the Al Hilal squad traveled to Doha, Qatar, to prepare for an upcoming AFC Champions League Elite fixture against Al Shamal scheduled for Tuesday.
