Al Hilal coach Inzaghi questions Watkins' fitness ahead of Al Gharafa match

Al Hilal manager Simone Inzaghi has raised questions regarding the availability of English striker Ollie Watkins ahead of the team's upcoming AFC Champions League Elite match against Qatar's Al Gharafa. During a press conference, Inzaghi stated that Watkins' participation would be determined following the final training session.

Despite the uncertainty surrounding Watkins, Inzaghi confirmed that Cresencio Summerville and Gabriel Martinelli are ready to play. Additionally, Simon Bouabri, Youssef Akchichik, and Mohamed Kader Mety are expected to be available for the squad.

Inzaghi highlighted the physical challenges facing the team due to a congested schedule, noting they played Al Taawoun only 48 hours prior to this continental fixture. He warned of Al Gharafa's strength, citing their fast attackers and solid defense. The match is scheduled to take place at the Kingdom Arena in Riyadh.
