Galatasaray rejects €130m Al Hilal offer for Victor Osimhen
Galatasaray has reportedly rejected a verbal €130 million offer from Saudi Pro League club Al Hilal for striker Victor Osimhen. The proposal, made through an intermediary, would have set a record for the most expensive African footballer in history. While some reports suggest Galatasaray might consider a lower valuation of approximately €65 million, the club has largely maintained a firm stance that the Nigerian international is not for sale.
Simultaneously, transfer discussions between Galatasaray and Arsenal have intensified. These talks involve Galatasaray’s interest in Arsenal players Gabriel Martinelli and Ethan Nwaneri, with Martinelli being a primary target for the Turkish side. In turn, the possibility of a swap deal or complex negotiation involving Osimhen moving to Arsenal has emerged as a potential outcome of these multi-player discussions.
Al Hilal’s pursuit of Osimhen is reportedly linked to plans to restructure their attack, potentially involving the departure of Karim Benzema to free up a foreign player slot. Meanwhile, Arsenal continues to monitor Osimhen as a high-quality option for their center-forward position.
