Al Ittihad targets Inter defender Benjamin Pavard for €20 million

Saudi Pro League club Al Ittihad has opened preliminary talks with the representatives of French defender Benjamin Pavard, who is currently under contract with Serie A side Inter Milan until 2028. The Saudi side is interested in strengthening its defence and views Pavard as a prime target.

Inter Milan has set a minimum asking price of €20 million for the player, higher than his estimated market value of around €12 million. Pavard, a former Bayern Munich defender, joined Inter in the summer of 2023 and has made 55 appearances for the French national team. The club is willing to consider offers that meet or exceed its valuation as it finalises its squad for the upcoming season.
