Al-Mahwit General Mobilization Committee approves operational regulations

The General Mobilization Committee for Al-Mahwit province held its first meeting in Marib to approve its operational regulations and propose the formation of field committees. These committees are tasked with supporting the armed forces and popular resistance as part of the ‘Dawn of Yemen’ operation.

During the meeting, Al-Mahwit Governor Dr. Saleh Samie, represented by Deputy Governor Ahmed Saleh, called on families and tribal leaders to protect their youth from joining Houthi militias. Samie encouraged those misled by the militia to utilize general amnesty decrees and distance themselves from conflicts serving Iranian interests.

The committee also discussed time-bound action plans to be submitted to the main provincial committee. The leadership expressed gratitude for the support provided by the legitimacy support coalition, led by Saudi Arabia, in efforts to restore state institutions in Yemen.
