Al-Masjid al-Haram Imam condemns Houthi attacks on sanctities

During a Friday sermon at Al-Masjid al-Haram, Imam and Khatib Sheikh Dr. Bandar Balilah urged Muslims to practice piety and maintain good thoughts toward one another. He warned that suspicion leads to spying, backbiting, and aggression, whereas positive thinking fosters social cohesion and peace.

Dr. Balilah also condemned the Houthi militia for targeting Islamic sanctities and safe cities, specifically mentioning Mecca and Medina. He characterized attacks on mosques, schools, and property as criminal acts that violate religious and human values, stating that such actions prove these groups have no connection to the teachings of Islam.
