Al-Masjid al-Haram Imam delivers sermon on high ambition

Sheikh Dr. Yasser bin Rashid Al-Dosari, Imam and Khatib of Al-Masjid al-Haram, delivered a Friday sermon emphasizing the importance of high ambition and determination in achieving success in both religious and worldly life.

During the sermon, Al-Dosari noted that high ambition is a key to success and a means to reach high status. He cited Islamic texts and the example of the Prophet Muhammad to illustrate how striving for excellence and competing in good deeds are essential virtues. He described high ambition as a sign of sound intellect and spiritual nobility, rather than a mere intellectual luxury.

Furthermore, the Sheikh urged Muslims to value their time, noting that life is limited. He encouraged followers to seek beneficial knowledge, surround themselves with ambitious individuals, and avoid laziness and procrastination.
