Al-Masjid an-Nabawi Imam emphasizes role of education

Sheikh Dr. Abdulbari bin Awad Al-Thubaiti, Imam and Preacher of Al-Masjid an-Nabawi, emphasized the importance of beneficial knowledge in building character and shaping the future of the nation during a Friday sermon. He noted that education is a mission that extends beyond transferring knowledge to instilling values and preparing generations to serve their country.

Al-Thubaiti highlighted the pivotal role of teachers, stating that their responsibility includes nurturing souls, awakening ambitions, and serving as role models through justice, mercy, and patience. He called upon society and media institutions to elevate the status of science and respect teachers as partners in building the future. Additionally, he encouraged students to seize educational opportunities to refine their character and self-discipline.
