Al-Nasr General Hospital reopens laparoscopic surgery unit

The Governor of Al Dhale'e, Major General Ahmad Qaed al-Kubba, has inaugurated the reopening of the laparoscopic surgery operating room at Al-Nasr General Hospital. The facility had been out of service for several years due to malfunctioning equipment.

Following extensive maintenance, repairs, and re-equipping, the room is now ready to receive patients and perform surgical procedures. During the inauguration, Dr. Ali Mutahar, the Director General of Al-Nasr General Hospital, provided an overview of the completed maintenance work and the specific medical services the room will now provide.

Governor al-Kubba emphasized that restoring this service will expand the hospital's surgical capabilities and reduce the burden on patients, who previously had to travel to other provinces for laparoscopic examinations and operations. He also stressed the importance of regular maintenance to ensure the continuity of these essential health services.
