Al Nassr and Zamalek players make headlines in regional football

In Saudi Arabian football, Al Nassr goalkeeper Abdulrahman Al-Otaibi expressed his satisfaction following a 3-2 comeback victory against Al-Ettifaq. Al-Otaibi was thrust into the match after the starting goalkeeper, Bento, received a red card in the 12th minute. The young goalkeeper credited his teammates for helping him overcome the pressure of his first-team debut, noting that their support allowed him to regain focus and improve his performance during the second half. Despite the win, Al-Otaibi apologized to fans for certain errors, stating he intends to learn from the experience.

In Egypt, former Zamalek star Tarek Yahia commented on the club's first Egyptian Premier League victory of the season, a 3-0 win over National Bank of Egypt. Yahia urged fans and management to be patient with the players and coaching staff, citing a lack of adequate pre-season preparation as a primary challenge. He noted that while the first half was difficult, tactical substitutions in the second half improved the team's performance. Yahia also emphasized the importance of veteran player Abdallah El Said and addressed the situation regarding Brazilian player Juan Bezerra.
