Al-Nassr FC has officially announced the signing of Portuguese midfielder Samu Costa from the Spanish club RCD Mallorca. The transfer comes as the Saudi Pro League champions look to strengthen their squad for the upcoming season and bolster their efforts in the AFC Champions League.

The transfer is valued at approximately 22 million euros. The move also provides a financial benefit to UD Almería, which is set to receive around 3.8 million euros due to a 20% sell-on clause previously negotiated during Costa's time with the club.

Costa, who recently participated in the 2026 World Cup with Portugal, joins Al-Nassr following a successful tenure in LaLiga. Al-Nassr is scheduled to begin its new season on August 15 against Al-Fateh in the Saudi Roshn League.
