Al Nassr kicks off Postecoglou era in Lisbon and wins Saudi Pro League title

Al Nassr will launch Ange Postecoglou’s tenure with a four‑match pre‑season camp in Lisbon, running from 22 July to 5 August. The Saudi club will face Benfica B, Spanish side Merida, Portuguese club Estrela Amadora and La Liga team Almería as part of a compact 13‑day programme aimed at preparing the squad to defend its league crown and return to the AFC Champions League Elite.

On 21 May 2026 Al Nassr secured the 2025/26 Saudi Pro League championship, defeating Damac 4‑1 at Al Awwal Park in Riyadh. The victory gave the team 86 points, its first league title in seven years. Cristiano Ronaldo scored a brace, while teammates Sadio Mané and Kingsley Coman also contributed to the win, sealing the club’s domestic success under the new coaching era.
