Al Nassr negotiates $500 million deal involving Cristiano Ronaldo

Al Nassr is reportedly in negotiations with a group of American and Saudi investors for a major deal that could reach a value of $500 million in exchange for an ownership stake. According to reports from the Portuguese outlet ‘A Bola’, the parties aim to finalize the agreement by the end of the current season.

A key aspect of the discussions is the potential inclusion of Cristiano Ronaldo as a partner and co-owner of the club. Such a move would transition the player from a contracted athlete to a strategic management partner.

The potential investment follows a recent transfer of 25% ownership of Al Nassr to Saudi Arabia’s Public Investment Fund (PIF). The club has faced significant financial challenges, including sanctions due to accumulated debts exceeding $213 million, despite spending approximately $494 million on player transfers over the last five years.
