Actor Al Pacino has been named the recipient of the SAG-AFTRA Life Achievement Award, the highest honor bestowed by the Screen Actors Guild. The 86-year-old star will receive the award on February 28, 2027, during the 33rd annual Actor Awards held at the Shrine Auditorium in Los Angeles. The ceremony is scheduled to be streamed live on Netflix.

The recognition honors Pacino’s six-decade career in film, television, and theater, as well as his significant humanitarian contributions. The guild highlighted his charitable work in disaster relief, efforts to combat hunger and poverty, and his support for local theater organizations like the Shakespeare Center of Los Angeles.
