Al Plaza Nagahama to host frozen food and ice cream buffet event

Al Plaza Nagahama will host the inaugural ‘Chin! Suru Restaurant’ event from October 30 to November 1, 2026. The three-day event offers a 90-minute all-you-can-eat buffet featuring a variety of frozen foods and ice cream products available at the store.

Organized by Nippon Access, this series of events has been held in various cities including Tokyo, Osaka, Nagoya, and Sapporo, attracting over 30,000 visitors to date. The initiative, which utilizes supermarket eat-in areas to encourage product discovery, was selected as one of the ‘2026 Hit Predictions Best 30’ by Nikkei Trendy.

The event is reservation-only, with 30 participants per session across six total sessions. Pricing is set at 2,500 yen per adult and 1,250 yen per elementary school student, while children under elementary school age can attend for free if accompanied by a guardian.
