Al-Quds Bait Mal Agency announces Jerusalem Hackathon 2026 winners

The Al-Quds Bait Mal Agency, the executive arm of the Jerusalem Committee chaired by King Mohammed VI, has announced the winners of the ‘Jerusalem Hackathon 2026’. The event, held at the Ramallah Expo, focused on supporting Palestinian startups and featured participation from over 120 young men and women representing 35 teams from eight Palestinian universities.

In the ‘FixPal’ track, the team ‘Dafater’ secured first place, followed by ‘Shabab al-Balad’ from Birzeit University and ‘Umraha’ from An-Najah National University. The ‘QGuide’ track saw ‘Quds Path’ from An-Najah University take first place, with ‘Ataba’ in second and ‘Qudsly’ from Palestine Polytechnic University in third. In the ‘Free Track’, the team ‘Rafiq’ from Birzeit University won first place, followed by ‘BlinkVoice’ from Al-Quds University and ‘Sahem’ from An-Najah National University.

Dr. Mohammed Salem Al-Sharqawi, acting manager of the agency, noted that the initiative reflects the creativity and commitment of Palestinian youth. He highlighted that 34 rising enterprises have benefited from the ‘BMAQ Innovation Hub’ to date, with some expanding their operations to Italy and the United Arab Emirates.
