Al Sadd coach Razvan Lucescu targets victory against Al Ahli

Al Sadd manager Razvan Lucescu has called on his players to fight for a victory in their upcoming match against Al Ahli. The fixture is part of the fourth round of the AFC Champions League Elite group stage.

During a press conference, Lucescu emphasized that winning is the only way for the team to remain competitive and continue their continental journey. He noted that while there is no significant difference between the team's performance in the domestic league and the Asian tournament, match congestion and a lack of luck have impacted their recent results.

With five matches remaining in the competition, Lucescu maintained that Al Sadd's chances of qualifying have not ended. Al Sadd goalkeeper Meshal Barsham added that the team is prepared to correct their course and secure their first win in the tournament despite the difficulty of the upcoming opponent.
