Al-Sadd defeats Qatar SC 6-2 to maintain league lead

Al-Sadd secured a dominant 6-2 victory against Qatar SC in the second round of the Qatar Stars League, maintaining a perfect record with six points from two matches. Led by manager Răzvan Lucescu, the team displayed a high-scoring offense, fueled by several Brazilian players.

Paulo Otávio opened the scoring with two goals in the first half, followed by a strike from Abdurisag. Although Qatar SC managed to reduce the deficit via a penalty from João Pedro, Al-Sadd responded strongly. Roberto Firmino scored to extend the lead, with subsequent goals from Claudinho and Akram Afif sealing the win.

Following the match, Firmino expressed excitement regarding the team's competitive form and their pursuit of new titles. Al-Sadd is scheduled to face Al-Gharafa next in the Qatar Cup.
