Al Shabab FC seeks dismissal of manager Thomas Letsch

Al Shabab FC management has submitted a request to the Saudi Pro League to dismiss German manager Thomas Letsch following a poor start to the season. The club has failed to secure a single victory in the first seven rounds of the league, recording four draws and three losses, leaving them in 14th place.

In addition to the league struggles, the team was recently eliminated from the King Cup after a 3-2 loss to Al Wehda. The club is currently awaiting financial regulatory approval from the league before the dismissal can be officially announced.

Following a recent disappointing draw against Al Fayha, Letsch apologized to the club's supporters for the team's performance. He attributed the lack of success to missed opportunities and organized defensive tactics by opponents, rather than midfield failures. During that match, the manager also noted a minor injury to Belgian player Yanick Carrasco.
