Al-Tawahi officials inspect schools in Aden to support education

Local authorities in the Al-Tawahi district of Aden conducted inspection visits to Ibn Khaldun and Ibn al-Haytham schools to monitor the progress of the educational process and student attendance.

During the visit, Director General Riyadh Hassan Ali met with teaching staff to discuss educational mechanisms, student needs, and administrative challenges. Key issues raised included a shortage of textbooks, which the local authority pledged to address through printing and distribution based on available resources. Additionally, consultations with teachers led to an agreement to implement English as a core subject for primary school students from grades one to five.
