Al-Zaidi has appointed Jamal al-Asadi as the legal advisor for the Ministry of Interior.

In separate developments, the Minister of Interior of the Kurdistan Region announced the signing of a memorandum of understanding with Baghdad to facilitate the mutual collection of traffic fines.
