Ece Erken Denies Forbidden‑Love Allegations and Vows Legal Action

Turkish TV presenter Ece Erken was accused of having an affair with a married businessman who has twin children. The rumor, spread by gossip outlets, claimed the two were seen together on holiday. In response, Erken posted a statement on social media rejecting the claims, describing them as false and defamatory. She warned that anyone disseminating such misinformation would be dealt with by her lawyer, adding that she prefers “law, not polemics.”

The businessman’s wife, architect Sena Bayraktar, also took to her accounts, asserting that Erken had threatened her and denying the allegations. Bayraktar said she would not be intimidated and that the reports were unfounded. No official legal proceedings have been filed yet, and the story remains confined to Turkish entertainment media.
