Alaa Bellaarouch called up to Morocco national team

Alaa Bellaarouch, the Moroccan goalkeeper currently on loan at Dinamo București from Braga, has received his first call-up to the Morocco senior national team. Coach Mohamed Ouahbi selected the 24-year-old for upcoming fixtures, including Africa Cup of Nations qualifiers against Gabon and Lesotho, as well as a friendly against Ghana.

Bellaarouch has been a consistent presence in the Romanian Superliga, and his performances have earned him a spot in a squad that includes established players such as Achraf Hakimi and Brahim Diaz. He will compete for a position against other goalkeepers like Yassine Bounou.

Following this development, Dinamo President Andrei Nicolescu indicated that the club intends to activate a €500,000 clause to secure a permanent transfer of the goalkeeper. Half of that transfer fee is expected to go to Strasbourg.
