Alaïa debuts Spring 2027 collection in Paris

Alaïa has presented its Spring 2027 collection, marking the fashion house's first runway show since the departure of creative director Pieter Mulier in early 2026. The presentation took place at the former Fondation Cartier building in Paris, featuring a minimalist setting where guests sat along the walls amidst conceptual video installations by artist Julian Klincewicz.

The collection emphasizes the brand's heritage through architectural draping, jersey knits, and leatherwork. Notable pieces include taut black Spencer jackets, leather skater skirts with spiral pleats, and knit dresses in colors such as butter yellow. The designs also featured jersey dresses with side slits and pin-tucked burgundy leather coats.

Owned by Richemont, the house is currently in a transition period regarding its creative leadership. While a new creative director has not been named, the collection was developed by the in-house studio team, including studio director Boaz Eli.
