Alaafin of Oyo unveils committee for 2026 Empire Day

The Alaafin of Oyo, Oba Akeem Owoade, has inaugurated a 37-member central working committee to organize the 2026 Oyo Empire Day Celebration. During the inauguration at his palace in Oyo town, the traditional ruler emphasized the necessity of preserving Yoruba cultural heritage.
