Alabama A&M Secures First HBCU Jersey Sponsorship with Omni2Max

Alabama A&M University became the first Historically Black College or University (HBCU) football program to place a corporate sponsorship patch on its jerseys. The university announced a $250,000 deal with San Diego‑based tech services firm Omni2Max Inc. for the 2026 season.

Athletics Director Dr. Paul A. Bryant said the partnership marks a historic moment for the Bulldogs and HBCU athletics, while Omni2Max President and CEO Dr. Allen F. Maxwell highlighted the agreement as an investment in the institution and its student‑athletes. The new uniforms will debut on Aug. 29, 2026, in the MEAC/SWAC Challenge against Howard at CenterParc Stadium in Atlanta. The deal follows recent NCAA rule changes that allow Division I programs to display corporate logos on uniform sleeves.
