Alabama and Auburn Set Preseason Basketball Games at Birmingham's Boutwell Auditorium

The University of Alabama will host exhibition matchups at Birmingham’s Boutwell Auditorium on Oct. 15. The men’s team will face SEC rival Ole Miss, while the women’s team will play the University of Alabama in Huntsville, giving fans a first look at eight new men’s players and four returning women’s players under new coach Pauline Love.

Auburn University will also participate in the third‑annual “Ballin’ in Boutwell” event. The Tigers men’s squad is scheduled to play Florida State on Oct. 14, and the women’s team will meet UCF the same day. Both Auburn squads have added numerous transfers and freshmen, allowing the coaches to evaluate new talent before the regular season begins. The event runs Oct. 14‑15 with five games over three days, featuring both Alabama and Auburn men's and women’s basketball programs.
