Alabama center Racin Delgatty doubtful for Tennessee matchup

Alabama football center Racin Delgatty has been downgraded to doubtful for the upcoming rivalry game against Tennessee. Delgatty, who has started every game this season and is on the Rimington Award midseason watch list, suffered a lower-leg injury during a recent loss to Georgia.

If Delgatty is unable to play, Alabama may rely on Mal Waldrep or Casey Poe to fill the role at center. The Crimson Tide face several other availability issues, including the confirmed absence of wide receiver Ryan Coleman-Williams, linebackers Desmond Umeozulu and Cayden Jones, defensive back Nick Sherman, and defensive linemen Jeremiah Beaman and Terrance Green. Linebacker Justin Hill is listed as probable.

Tennessee enters the matchup with several players out for the remainder of the season, including Ethan Davis, Joakim Dodson, Jaedon Harmon, Edrees Farooq, Dylan Lewis, and Wendell Moe Jr. Tennessee quarterback Faizon Brandon is currently listed as questionable.
