Alabama college football teams continue preseason fall camp

College football programs in Alabama are progressing through their preseason fall camps.

Alabama held its 10th practice session on Monday, August 17. Defensive backs Zabien Brown and Dijon Lee Jr. participated in drills, while wide receiver Lotzeir Brooks returned to individual work following a brief absence. Inside linebackers, including Reese and Luke Metz, worked with coach Chuck Morrell. The Crimson Tide is scheduled for its second scrimmage of camp on Thursday, August 20, ahead of their season opener against East Carolina on September 5.

UAB completed its first scrimmage of fall camp at Protective Stadium in Birmingham. Despite high temperatures and humidity, the Blazers' defense showed strong performance. Defensive lineman J'Quan Mason recorded four sacks, while Blanche Gold added two. Head coach Alex Mortensen noted the scrimmage served as a test of mental toughness and technical execution under fatigue.
