Alabama defensive back Bray Hubbard prepares for LSU matchup

Alabama senior defensive back and team captain Bray Hubbard is focusing on defensive disguises ahead of the Crimson Tide’s upcoming game against LSU in Baton Rouge. Hubbard noted that LSU head coach Lane Kiffin and his offensive staff are skilled at identifying defensive coverages based on alignment and tempo.

To counter this, Hubbard emphasized the importance of masking coverages to prevent the Tigers from predicting Alabama’s defensive schemes. This preparation follows Alabama’s recent 31-20 victory over Texas A&M, a game where the defense struggled against intermediate routes early on.

Hubbard, an All-American and First Team All-SEC member, also reflected on his personal history, noting that he was never recruited by Kiffin during his high school years. The No. 9 ranked Alabama team is scheduled to face the No. 15 LSU Tigers this Saturday at 2:30 p.m. CT.
