Alabama executes Jeremy Williams for child murder and abuse
The State of Alabama has executed Jeremy Williams, 41, via lethal injection. Williams was convicted of the 2021 kidnapping, sexual assault, and murder of five-year-old Kamarie Holland.
According to court records, Williams lured the child from her home in Columbus, Georgia, to Phenix City, Alabama, where he assaulted and strangled her. Williams later provided a recorded confession admitting to the murder, the production of obscene material, and the abuse of the child's corpse. He also confessed to the abuse of two other children and the murder of his infant daughter in Alaska. Williams pleaded guilty to multiple capital murder and human trafficking charges in March 2024.
